Is it possible to book LightningLane Multi-Passes with two separate Disney Groups for the same ride/time. We are surprising my father for his 60th birthday by having his family go up. But we dont want him to see the Lightning Lanes booked with their names

Hey there, hi there, ho there Matthew! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. It sounds like you’re planning an incredible trip to Walt Disney World Resort with a big group, how exciting! With so many ways to customize your visit, it’s great that you’re thinking ahead about Lightning Lane options. I’d be happy to help clarify how it all works!

To share plans with everyone in your party, I would suggest that everyone create their own My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to everyone in your party on their own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party including Lightning Lane Passes

When using Lightning Lane Passes at Disney World, each individual must purchase Lightning Lane Passes for themselves for that day. This purchase is individual and must be done through each person's My Disney Experience account. If each friend is connected through the Friends & Family list and everyone has purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day, then one person can make the reservations for the entire group or it can be done individually.

For those purchasing Lightning Lane passes, linking through the Friends & Family list allows one person to manage and coordinate reservations for the group seamlessly. This is especially helpful for families or groups who prefer one person to take the lead in planning. If different members of the group want to experience different attractions, the app allows for flexibility. Each individual can choose and manage their own reservations, and you’ll still see the plans for those who are linked. One thing to keep in mind - for high demand attractions, it’s often best for one person to make the reservations for the group to ensure everyone gets the same return time.

Matthew, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort to surprise your father! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
