Hi Hannah! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Yes, I have good news for you: You can purchase the right
admission tickets for your family's needs on your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort without being locked into a minimum stay.
For your purposes, I'd suggest the 3-day ticket option as the best value since it is unlikely that the 1-day tickets will be less expensive over all three days of your visit. When purchasing a Standard Theme Park Ticket, you'll be asked how many days you'd like to select, and you'll choose "3." You'll then select how many will be in your party and whether they are adults or children.
Next, you'll select your ticket type, meaning whether you'd like to visit one park per day or whether you'd like the option to hop between parks with a
Park Hopper. My family likes this option on our shorter visits. We often start the day in one park, hop over to the other at lunch, and hop back at night for entertainment in the original park. You can do that! After you've selected your ticket type, you'll be asked to select your preferred dates and parks. If you selected Park Hopper, you'll be choosing the park you'd like to start your day in. Otherwise, you're choosing which park you'll spend the whole day in.
Finally, you'll have the option to add
Disney Genie+ Service to your tickets. This service allows you to select return times at Lightning Lane Entrances, which will reduce the amount of time your family spends in queues. We love this option. It makes life easier! My family selects it for our visits, but be aware you can add it after you scan into the parks if you didn't choose it in advance and decide you'd like to take advantage of less time in line once you arrive.
That's the process. It's pretty easy! However, if you'd like to speak to a friendly Cast Member, who can assist you in purchasing your admission tickets, you can do that too. Simply call the
Tickets phone line and they'll be happy to help you out.
February is a great time to visit. You should experience lower crowds and maybe some Valentine's Day-themed goodies and fun or
Lunar New Year. Be aware that it might be Southern California, but February can come with cooler weather and rain. Pack a poncho, jacket, quick-drying shoes, and plenty of socks, so you stay comfortable during your holiday. It's best to be prepared! Especially at night when temperatures can drop lower.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
