On MyDisneyExperience is it possible to book entertainment items like character experiences (I’m looking at Meet Chewbacca or Jedi training)? Thanks

    Hi Sharon!

We have becoming quite accustomed to planning in advance when it comes to vacationing at Walt Disney World.  It seems more and more experiences have the option of making reservations.  One of the activities I wish had an advance reservation system for is for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It is still a same day sign-up activity and is on a first come, first served basis.  If you are interested in this activity for your children, I highly recommend arriving to Disney's Hollywood Studios as early as possible in the morning and going straight to the registration area, which is at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost.  Your children must be with you when you register.

Meeting Chewbacca at Star Wars Launch Bay in Disney's Hollywood Studios is only available currently through the standby line.  I had the opportunity of previewing Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge today and saw Chewbacca roaming the streets of Batuu as well as Rey, Kylo Ren and stormtroopers.  If a character has a meet & greet that you can book in advance, you'll see them listed as a FastPass+ option like meeting Ariel in her Grotto in Magic Kingdom Park.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
