Is it possible to book the Disney Dining plan for the number of DAYS you are there not the number of nights. We have a late flight out and could use the extra meals. So book 8 days of meals instead of 7 nights.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Gale!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! Get ready to step into a place where dreams come to life, churros taste better, and smiles somehow shine even brighter. Every moment will feel like its own little adventure, filled with laughter, wonder, and a sprinkle (okay, a shower) of pixie dust. You’re about to make memories that will stick with you long after you’ve unpacked your Mickey ears!

This is such a great question, and I love that you’re thinking ahead about how to make the most of your last Disney day! Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan is always tied to the number of nights in your resort reservation, not the number of days. So, if you’re staying seven nights, your dining plan will include seven “days’ worth” of meals and snacks, even if you’re in the parks for an extra day before your flight. But don’t worry—there are some wonderful ways to make that last day just as delicious and easy!

One of the best tricks is to plan ahead with your credits. Many guests use snack credits lightly early in the trip and save a few for their departure day, especially since your dining credits and snacks can be used through midnight on your checkout day. That way, you can grab something quick and tasty from your resort or a park before heading to the airport. Another smart move is to schedule a late breakfast or early lunch on your final morning at a restaurant that doesn’t require a park ticket, like Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary or Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. You can use your final dining credits there and savor one last enchanting meal before saying goodbye.

If you do run out of credits, don’t worry. Quick-service locations and resort food courts offer plenty of options that won’t break the bank (and they’re often big enough to share!). So while you can’t officially extend your Dining Plan by a day, with a little planning, you can absolutely make your final day feel just as magical—and delicious—as every day before it!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
