Is it possible to book a dining reservation for a restaurant in a park even if you don’t have a park reservation for that park? Example: having a Magic Kingdom park reservation but want to make a dining reservation for dinner at EPCOT.

Hello, Lynda, welcome back to planDisney, we thank you for your loyalty!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is my favourite pastime, being a foodie at heart! And now, for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, the magic is calling all Foodies!

In order to dine at a Table-Service venue inside any Walt Disney World Resort theme park, Guests must have a Disney Park Pass reservation using valid theme park admission for that specific theme park. One other way to dine at EPCOT, would be to enter Magic Kingdom Park first, using that Disney Park Pass reservation, and then after 2:00 PM, you can park hop to EPCOT. Just remember that you will need the Park Hopper® Option on your theme park tickets for entry into EPCOT at 2:00 PM or later, after your initial visit to Magic Kingdom Park.

I invite you to explore Table-Service venues at our nearby Disney Resort hotels in the BoardWalk Area, or at the beautiful Disney’s Riviera Resort which can be reached using the Disney Skyliner gondola service if you decide not to park hop to EPCOT for dining.

Please take a look at the Disney Genie service to optimize your theme park touring, and refer to our current health and safety measures in preparation for your visit.

Lynda, I hope that this information is helpful, and I look forward to being of any further assistance with your Disney vacation planning soon!

From a fellow Canadian, best Disney wishes ~ Jacqueline
