Is it possible to book adjoining or connecting studios at the Riviera. If not, which DVC properties at Walt Disney World would offer that?

    Hiya, Lisa!

It's so nice to see you here at planDisney.  Thanks for stopping by with your question!  If you haven't gotten to experience a stay at Disney's Riviera Resort yet, you're in for a treat –– with sophisticated details, incredible dining options, and easy access to Disney Skyliner, it has everything you need for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that's practically perfect in every way.  Let me share a few details about the rooms at Riviera (as well as other Disney Vacation Club Resorts) to help you plan for your upcoming visit.

At Disney Vacation Club Resorts, the only connecting room types that are available are Deluxe Studios and 1-Bedroom Villas –– that's because these types of rooms can be combined to create 2-Bedroom Lockoff accommodations.  So while you won't be able to book adjoining Deluxe Studios, if you'd like two rooms that are close together, I recommend stopping by the front desk once you arrive at the Resort to request rooms that are in close proximity to one another.  While this isn't guaranteed, Cast Members always go above and beyond to create magic for their Guests, and in my experience, I've had great luck getting rooms that are close together (often right next door).  If you'd like, you can also fax any room requests directly to the hotel ahead of your arrival at (407) 824-3232.  Just keep in mind that since you're making a special request, it might take a few minutes longer to gain access to your rooms –– even miracles take a little time, after all!

Again, thanks for visiting planDisney, Lisa.  If you think of more planning questions as your Walt Disney World Resort visit gets closer, I hope you'll drop by again –– just like Fairy Godmother, we're always here to help you create magic for your own family!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
