Ahoy, Kari!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Your little cruiser will be enjoying the perks of being a Prince or a Princess onboard the Disney Wonder -- I'm so excited for you! As long as the kids are happy - usually, the parents will be happy too. You've picked a great vacation that can allow you and your kids to have a memorable time together. It's nice to take a break from the usual grind, and instead, be pampered while on your vacation. There really is something for everyone on the Disney Cruise,
including Parents.
Childcare for little ones aged 3 years old and younger, will be handled by
Flounders Reef Nursery. It's a great themed space and the Youth Counselors are absolutely amazing with the kids. Flounders Reef is the only onboard childcare for babies & toddlers, and there is no private nanny service offered while onboard. You will be able to arrange nursery schedules in advance. You can do so once you are online with your cruise reservation on the
My Online CheckIn. There is an additional cost of $9 per hour for your 1st child. You are welcome to bring them extra clothes or their bottle or a favorite toy if they'll need it. If you visit any ports and would like to explore the port city on your own (adults only), you are also more than welcome to leave you little one at the Nursery -- you'll just have to reconfirm their schedules for the day, just to make sure that there are no scheduling conflicts.
I hope this information helps, Kari. Please do send back a response if you have any additional questions as you plan for this awesome vacation.
Happy planning,
~ Dolly
