Welcome to
planDisney, my fellow Pennsylvanian Elizabeth!
You must be so
very excited for your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World. I know I cannot wait to return and enjoy all of the magic that makes this place so special.
When we visit our home away from home, we always send ourselves some packages of essentials that we just can't bring on a plane. It's a great way to travel lighter and be able to enjoy our vacation from the moment we land at Orlando International Airport--no bulky boxes to transport. Great idea, Elizabeth!
You'll be happy to know that Guests are still welcome to send packages directly to their
Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and doing so is super easy. First, be sure to locate the proper address for your particular Walt Disney World Resort hotel, which is located on the hotel's homepage, right below the resort map to the right on the hotel's Overview page. (Take a look at the homepage for
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as an example.) Use your hotel's address, then add ATTN: plus your name and the dates of your stay. We also add "Guest" to our address line so that it's clear who we are, when we are arriving, and that those goodies can be set aside for us until arrival. Easy peasy.
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel that features a
Ricoh Business Center (resorts are listed on that link), your incoming parcel will be waiting for you there during business hours for a nominal fee. If your Walt Disney World Resort hotel does not include a Ricoh Business Center, your package will be waiting for you at the front desk during Check-in. Just let the Cast Member assisting you know that there should be a package for you, and you'll have it in no time.
As you plan your pixie-dusted visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Elizabeth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
