As the mom of a large family, I always say, "The more the merrier," so I think it's great that you are looking to bring another person along on your magical vacation! If you want to add someone to your Walt Disney World Resort reservation,
you can absolutely do that as long as the total number of people doesn't exceed the maximum capacity of your resort hotel room. There will be a modest price increase for the room, as well as an additional cost for any theme park tickets for your added guest.
To add your guest to your reservation or to check the cost difference, log in to your My Disney Experience account on the
Walt Disney World website. Hover over "My Disney Experience," and select "My Plans and Tickets." Scroll down until you see your reservation and click on the button that says, "Change reservation." The website will walk you through the process. If you have any difficulty, call the
Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations line, and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
Since your trip is scheduled for September, you'll get to witness the fall decorations going up throughout the parks! While it tends to still feel like summer in central Florida, the pumpkins and autumn colors will have you all ready for the spooky season.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will have begun, so keep an eye out for those dates to be released. It's a special ticketed event with exclusive entertainment, food, and my favorite part - trick-or-treating!
