Hello Caitlyn!
I can tell you are excited about planning your Walt Disney World vacation. There is so much to do and experience during
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration!
As of January 1st, 2022, Disney's Magical Express is no longer offered for transportation from the Orlando International Airport to the
Resorts of Walt Disney World. So you will need to secure ground transportation from the Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort. There are many options to get from the Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort to begin your vacation. Here are four of the many ways to get to your Walt Disney World Resort:
1. A rideshare service such as Lyft or Uber, which are easy to book using their phone apps
2. A shuttle service such as Mears Connect (a bus and taxi service). You can use the Mears mobile website or call (407)-422-2222 to book this service or try the Sunshine Flyer (a new Orlando airport shuttle service to Walt Disney World Resorts). There is a cost per person for drop off and pick up at your Walt Disney World Resort
3. A car service where you get a private vehicle with a driver to get you to your Resort. This option may be more expensive, but it could be the fastest option to get to your Walt Disney World Resort
4. A rental car from any of the rental car agencies at the Orlando International Airport (keep in mind there is a nightly parking fee at all the Walt Disney World Resorts if you have a vehicle), and there are tolls on some of the roads that lead from the Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort
I used Mears Connect on my June Walt Disney World vacation to get from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Pop Century Resort, and it was quick and easy.
I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is fantastic!
