Ahoy there, Cindy. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking time to sail by with your question for us.
I’m happy to see you’ll be onboard a Disney cruise next month! I bet you’re getting excited with packing and coordinating last minute logistics. Iron and steamers unfortunately are
not allowed to be brought onto any of the Disney ships. However, irons and ironing boards are available in the self-service launderettes on all the ships. So don’t worry about having to lug your iron in your suitcase! Once you’re onboard, if you need more hangers for your clothes, you can ask your stateroom steward to bring additional ones.
Judging by your arrival date, I’m speculating perhaps you will be stopping at
Castaway Cay as one of your ports of call. Cindy, not having to bring your iron means more space for souvenirs and merchandise! Just a quick tip: If you see something that catches your eye at Castaway Cay, I recommend buying it while you’re there since you won’t be able to find Castaway Cay branded items once you’re back on the ship. I made this rookie mistake on our first Disney cruise unfortunately and it was instant regret!
I hope this information is helpful for you, Cindy. If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
