Hello Kiera, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Some items are necessary for your daily ailments and figuring that out is important. I'll be happy to help.
Staying comfortable is super important when visiting one of the
Walt Disney World theme parks. Let's be honest, sometimes days at the parks feel like Moana and her trip across the ocean. Packing and planning correctly for all the waves this journey brings is this Dad's top priority. There are a couple of different versions of portable heating pads, and none of them are listed as prohibited items on the
Walt Disney World Property Rules webpage.
We usually carry the disposable type as they take up the least space and fit nicely inside the gallon-sized resealable storage bags. Those bags are lifesavers for more than just medications and heating pads. So be sure to pack some extras, they always come in handy. Each park also has
First Aid Centers that can assist with any medications this "prepared" Dad forgets. Last November we stopped by one in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for some over-the-counter medications that I had brought but left in our room. I packed it! But I just forgot it back in the room and sometimes that happens. You can locate the First Aid Centers easily in the
My Disney Experience App while you are in the parks, or a cast member will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Hope your visit to the parks is awesome and that this information was helpful. If you have any other questions about planning do not hesitate to come back to
planDisney.com.
Have a magical day!
