    Port Orleans Riverside shows boat transportation. where does it go, how often and how long does it take to arrive at final destination?

    Hi Eva! Port Orleans Riverside Resort is one of my favorite moderate Disney resorts. I love the theme and the ambiance of the property.

    This resort does indeed have boat transportation available to all its guests. This boat will take you to Disney Springs where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment.  It will make one stop at Port Orleans French Quarter and the trip is about 17-20 minutes long. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable ride through the waterways that go by the resorts before it opens up into the large lake where Disney Springs is located. It is far more fun then taking a bus or even driving especially since there is still quite a bit of construction going on.

    Disney Springs is a great place to head on arrival day if you arrive before your room is ready. Leave your luggage with the bell staff to store and hop on the boat and enjoy some Disney Magic. It is also a hot spot for an evening after the parks. Make some dining reservations and take in a movie at the Disney AMC Theater or watch the La Nouba Cirque Du Soleil show. You can even try a game or two of bowling at the Splitsville Lanes.
