Port Orleans Riverside has a pair of special things to do: early morning fishin' and a pirate adventure. What do other resorts offer that are "hidden gems" like these? Fees aren't a problem. I'm looking for experiences for my kids that they haven

    Hi there Grant!

One of the neatest parts about a trip to Walt Disney World is all of the fun (and often FREE) activities that can be found at the onsite resort hotels!

Some of my family's favorites include:

    1. The torch lighting ceremony at the Polynesian Resort's Great Ceremonial House.
    2. Viewing the animals of the savanna at Animal Kingdom Lodge through night-vision goggles.
    3. Taking in the amazing views from the Monorail as it passes through each of the Magic Kingdom Area Resorts.
    4. Enjoying the whimsical Wonderland Tea Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
    5. Relaxing on one of the watercraft rentals available at several of the resort marinas.

Simply visit the Concierge Desk at any of the Disney resort hotels for additional information and details. Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation full of plenty of special hidden gem experiences!
