We will be at Port Orleans Riverside in November. I do see that there are self serve laundry services, is there detergent/fabric softener to purchase as well or do I need to bring my own?

    Hi Courtney!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I make good use of the laundry services at Walt Disney World every time I visit!  At Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside there are five laundry rooms adjacent to the quiet pools around the Resort hotel and are open 24-hours a day.  Most only accept credit/debit cards but some still take coins.  There is a soap vending machine within each laundry room, so you do not need to bring anything with you.  At my last visit the prices were: washers $3, dryers $3, laundry soap $1 (prices always subject to change).  There is also a good valet laundry and dry cleaning service available, and you will find laundry bags and price lists located in your Guest Room closet, and a same-day service is offered if you leave your bag early enough (around 8.00am) it will be returned to you by around 6.30pm the same day.

You can now see if there are any washers/dryers free for use before you make your way over there - click on the link 'Learn more about machines currently available for use'.  It could save you several trips, back and forth!

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
