Hi there Verna!
Thanks for deciding to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm glad you stopped in!
There is indeed a hot tub at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The hot tub is located at the feature pool area otherwise known as Ol' Man Island. Centrally located, you'll find it won't be much of a walk from any part of the resort.
As far as your room requests are concerned, all room set-ups at Disney's Port Orleans Resort are 2 queen beds. Rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort are equipped with 2 Queens plus a pull-down, single bed, intended for usage by a child aged 9 or younger and up to 80lbs. I can totally relate to your room needs since I have a 'tween' boy and teenage girl myself. If you do decide to stay at Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section, your best bet for room location 'requests' in order to be closest to the feature pool and hot tub would be buildings 26, 27, 38 or 39.
If you want to ensure separate beds for your teens, another great resort to consider is
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This has become a new favourite for my family with the current ages of our kids because one of the room options is a 'Bunk Bed Room.' This ideal room set-up offers 1 queen bed plus bunk beds in a beautiful and serene setting.
I hope this information is helpful to you Verna.
If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again!
Wishing you a simply Magical time planning your next visit to Walt Disney World!
