    Will the Port Orleans Riverside gift shop have a wide variety of magic bands to purchase. The My Disney Experience is only showing 12 options that are geared more to younger kids. Thank you

    Welcome to planDisney!  Can you believe that in 1 month from today, you will be at Walt Disney World celebrating the 50th Anniversary. There are so many new experiences created just for the celebration, like Disney Enchantment, a new fireworks extravaganza featuring your favorite Disney Characters in projections on Cinderella Castle and the buildings of Main Street U.S.A. This spectacle is shown most nights in the Magic Kingdom. Check a Times Guide for showtimes and dates. This limited-run event will only be shown during the 50th Anniversary Celebration, then it will disappear like magic. 

    MagicBands are my favorite Disney Theme Park souvenir. I have over 50 active MagicBands listed in My Disney Experience. These amazing pieces of wearable technology make my life so much easier when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. They allow me to open the door to my Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room, charge food and merchandise back to my room account, access my theme park admission tickets, redeem Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, add PhotoPass Photos to my Memory Maker account. 

    Currently, due to supply chain issues, the MagicBands offered to Guests at the pre-arrival discounted price are limited. There are several pre-arrival exclusive MagicBands that you will only find online with styles that represent Disney Characters and Disney Resorts. All Disney Resorts Collection Hotels have a select gift shop that has a selection of MagicBands. The styles will vary from what you see online. If you do not find what you like there, Hakuna Matata. You can also find a large selection of MagicBands in the main retail locations of each Disney Theme Park. The Emporium, in the Magic Kingdom, and Creations Shop, in EPCOT have a huge selection. You can also find a large assortment at the World of Disney in Disney Springs. Keep in mind, your new MagicBands will need to be linked to your My Disney Experience account before using them. A Cast Member will be happy to assist you at the conclusion of your check-out process in linking your MagicBands if you have trouble.
