At Port Orleans Riverside, what is the difference between a Standard room and a Preferred room and is it worth the price difference?

    Hi William,
Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. At all Disney's Resort, the difference is basically location. Usually, the preferred rooms are located at buildings number one or ten and those are the buildings near to the bus stop, main lobby, resort store and food court. Staying in a preferred room means that you are going to be near to the amenities and probably will walk less. To read a great review of the resorts, including maps and the best options of rooms to request, read the review of the resort at Touring Plans. If you have mobility issues on your group or intend to stay a lot at the resort, it's worth it.
    Have a magical day!
