Which of the Port Orleans Resort would be best for a four year old boy? FQ or Riverside? Also do either resorts have conjoined rooms (two rooms next to each other that share a door you can open to walk from one to the other)?

    Hi Brandie!

This is a great question.  Both resorts are great resorts though I personally prefer Port Orleans Riverside over French Quarter.  Some pros and cons of French Quarter:
    • Smaller resort making it easier to get around
    • Pool is perfect for young children with a small easy going water slide
    • A single bus stop at the resort (but it shares buses with Port Orleans Riverside)
    • No Table Service restaurant
    • Food court is relatively small with limited items
Some pros and cons of Riverside
    • Large resort and relatively spread out (multiple bus stops)
    • Great pool with a long water slide that may be a little too much for a very young child
    • A large playground
    • Table Service restaurant
    • Large food court

Guests of either resort can use the services and amenities of the other, including the pool, because they are sister resorts.  You can walk between the two in about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you walk and where exactly you start from.  You can also take a boat that runs between the two.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
