We have never been to Port Orleans, I have reserved a pool side room, by doing this are we away from the restaurants and the drink refill stations?

    Hi there Robin!

I'm so glad that you decided to stop by the Moms Panel with your question!
Disney's Port Orleans Resorts are amongst my favourites. You're going to have a fabulous time.

If you'd like to write me back and let me know which of the two properties you're reserved at - Riverside or French Quarter - I'll be happy to provide you with some more in-depth answers to additional resort questions that you may have. By selecting a Pool View Room for your accommodations, you'll find that you're quite centrally located to the major amenities of the resort such as beverage refill accessibility.

If you're staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you'll find that the beverage refill stations in the Quick Service Dining Area are quite close at hand since the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court is just a hop, skip and jump from the feature pool area. Over at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, the resort is larger and a bit more spread out. With a pool view room at this property, you'll likely have only a short jaunt across the bridge to get to the beverage refill station located inside the Riverside Mill food court.

I've enjoyed stays at both properties, so please feel free to write me back and I'll be happy to answer your questions Robin.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
