At Port Orleans is then French Quarter or Riverside closer to the area that you can take the boat to the Market Place? I'm booking a trip for some friends and could not remember. They are older so I'm trying to minimize their walking.

If you are looking to book a hotel where you'll keep extra steps at the minimum, look no further than Port Orleans French Quarter!

This is a beautiful, compact and charming resort. While moderately priced, it offers a lot of amenities making it a great value as well.

The boat departs Port Orleans Landing and then goes to Downtown Disney's Marketplace.

To  help you make an informed decision, take a look at these two sister resorts. Just google "port orleans resort map" and you'll be able to click on maps.

    I highly recommend POFQ!
