    When at port, is there an option to get to the beach other than paying for excursions? We will have a four-year-old and 7 year old with us and would like to just go to a beach

    Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this wonderful question! One of the many reasons I love setting sail aboard Disney Cruise Line is because I get the opportunity to see exotic places all while being surrounded by the magic of Disney. In my opinion, there is no better way to travel!

    Mmm, warm sand and sunshine sounds like my kind of vacation! You may absolutely disembark the ship at each port of call whether you've booked a Port Adventure through Disney Cruise Line or not! I love exploring the different ports of call on exciting Port Adventures but it's also really fun for my family to explore and experience the culture and beauty of a port of call on our own.

    I do want to mention that depending on your itinerary, there may not be a beach within walking distance from where the cruise ship docks. Taxis are usually parked near the dock, but I definitely recommend researching the beaches you may be interested in exploring on your own prior to your Disney Cruise setting sail.
