Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert! Just a while ago, I took a three day vacation with my family at Walt Disney World Resort and needed to travel to Port Canaveral for a cruise, and then back again! I had a fabulous time using an independent shuttle!
Our family was cruising Carnival at that time, so I was in a similar situation to yours. I researched myself into a tizzy and finally found Cortrans-Shuttle.com, a small company with excellent and reliable service. I hired them to ferry our family back and forth from the port to Orlando, but you’ll need to make a specific transfer to
Disney’s Magical Express in order to get to Walt Disney World Resort for your extended vacation. You can schedule Cortrans to pick you up as you disembark and plan to be dropped at MCO Orlando International Airport. There, you can make your way a few doors down to the Disney’s Magical Express stanchion, where you can check in with your
MagicBand 2 and comfortably ride to your
Disney Resort. Don’t forget to schedule your Magical Express ride in advance (as well as your shuttle - they fill up!) and since you won’t be able to provide an incoming flight via the reservation form, you can call a Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 and explain your situation. It only took me a minute or two to detail that we were coming from a shuttle at the airport to check in to our Resort.
I hope you have a wonderful cruise and an equally as magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort! If I can help you get around the Resort or find other activities you’d enjoy, please let me know. Bon Voyage! ~ Lindsey P.
