Hey there, Susan! Welcome to planDisney, where my pals and I are happy to see you sail our way.
You can often find me arriving at Port Canaveral by way of Disney Cruise Line
ground transportation. I love leaving the task of driving to Disney, so that I can sit back, relax, and wait for the cruise ship to appear in the distance. A definite perk to using Disney's ground transfers is that you will not need to select a Port Arrival Time during the online check-in process. If you'll be staying at the Hyatt at the Orlando Airport, you will receive information via email about 48 hours prior to your sailing regarding when and where to meet the morning of your cruise. You might also be given these printed directions when you check in for your hotel stay.
Once you arrive at Port Canaveral, you will make your way inside the terminal to check in. It's that simple! As you prepare for your sailing, please be sure to look over the required
Travel Documentation for your itinerary. You'll want to have these documents with you in your bag that you will carry aboard the ship. For the remainder of your luggage, you will receive luggage tags to tag your bags, and they will be transported from the hotel to the cruise ship. The luggage will be delivered later in the afternoon, so you'll want to have anything you'll need for those first few hours with you. For my family, that is often swimsuits, hats, glasses, and sunscreen as we like to visit the pools onboard soon after boarding. Our routine is lunch, pool, and a soft-serve ice cream cone. It's a great start to our very favorite vacation.
Susan, please cruise our way again if you think of more questions. We'll be here to help the best we can!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
