Ahoy, Alejandro! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your Disney Cruise Line question.
The
Alaskan itineraries generally offer the same types of Port Adventures throughout the months of May to September, but specific offerings are always subject to vary by sailing dates. I spoke with a cast member and verified that unfortunately there is no way to view the current availability for specific
Port Adventures prior to booking your cruise. Reservations for Port Adventures do not open up until your cruise balance is paid in full and your
advance booking window arrives, which is determined by your
Castaway Club membership level or status as a concierge guest. The advance booking window opens 75 days prior to sail date for first-time guests, but the earliest advance booking window opens 130 days prior to sail date for concierge guests. On the date of your advance booking window, you can begin booking activities at midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Because each guest’s advance booking window varies, the availability for specific Port Adventures is always changing and you will not be able to see what you can reserve until your booking window opens. There are a number of different Port Adventures in Juneau, Alaska that include visits to the Mendenhall Glacier, but the availability for particular excursions with helicopter rides or dog sledding cannot be guaranteed.
If the opportunity to participate in specific Port Adventures is essential to your Alaskan sailing, then you may want to read the
Disney Cruise Line cancellation policies prior to booking. The cancellation fees vary by timeframe, stateroom category, and length of cruise, so be sure to read the details.
I hope you are able to get your perfect itinerary complete with Port Adventures. If you have any other questions, then feel free to reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
