POR or POFQ to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary alone with DH? Going next year December 23-27. Have stayed at Caribbean, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk and Pop Century before in that order. We have visited during Christmas 2 times b4. Thank you!

    Hi Anne,

Congratulations on your upcoming milestone! My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary last year at the Walt Disney World resort. I'm sure you will have a special time there as well.

Of the two Port Orleans resorts, I would highly recommend Port Orleans French Quarter for your celebration trip. We often choose that resort on our anniversary or on other couples weekends. I love that the resort is small, quiet and has a more intimate, adult feel than its sister resort, Port Orleans Riverside. The last time we stayed there for an anniversary, we got a king-bed room on a corner, facing a courtyard, and it felt incredibly private and luxurious.

Best wishes for a wonderful celebratory getaway. Please let me know if I can offer any other advice on restaurants or activities as you plan your very special visit.

    Enjoy!
