We are at POR from 12/10-12/16 and I planned our 1st trip according to magic hours. I have been reading that parks w/magic hours are the busiest for the day and to avoid crowds, ignore magic hours, and choose another park. Not sure what to do!! Please help

    Hi Amanda,

Your plan to visit the theme parks with Extra Magic Hours is a good one, particularly if your family can reasonably get up on time in the morning to be there for rope drop.  If your family sleeps in late then it doesn't make sense to head to the park with morning Extra Magic Hours.  But if they can get moving early, that extra hour in the morning is a time when much can be accomplished.  I suggest that you stick with your original plan.  Since mid-December is not a peak park attendance time, you'll be fine whether you visit the parks to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours or avoid those parks.  No worries!

Get ready for a blissful and exciting Disney adventure.  The Disney parks and resorts are never more beautiful than they are in December.

    Have fun!
