    Can I use a popcorn bucket from another Disney cruise ship to the Disney destiny for a refillable fee?

    Hello there, Carina,

    Ooh! I'm really looking forward to my family's upcoming cruise on the Disney Destiny. Our daughter wasn't able to join us on our recent Disney Treasure cruise. So she is especially excited to finally experience the Haunted Mansion Parlor. We are hoping there will be amazing photo opportunities there like we experienced on the Treasure. We are already planning our themed outfits!

    One of our family's favorite Disney cruise traditions is to purchase a refillable popcorn bucket and enjoy discounted refills for the big show most nights in the Walt Disney Theater as well as first-run movies in the other theaters.

    Officially, discounted popcorn refills are available for refillable popcorn buckets purchased on your current Disney Cruise Line vacation. Since Cast Members may request proof of purchase or, somewhat more likely, popcorn bucket designs may change from cruise to cruise, Cast Members may not be allowed to refill your popcorn bucket from a prior cruise or visit to the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort.

    Of course, you are still welcome to bring your old popcorn bucket onboard with you. Many Guests find them useful for carrying and storing personal items during Port Adventures. They might even be the perfect tool to help build a sand castle on the family beaches of the Disney island destinations. I think they would be handy for carrying drinks from the beverage station and snacks from Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods.
