Hi Mamie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,
One of my favorite places to visit at Walt Disney World Resort is Fort Wilderness. I'm not much of a camper so I've enjoyed staying at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Several of my fellow Moms Panelists are more adventurous than I am and camp every year at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. It's such a beautiful resort to explore!
I spoke with a Cast Member and unfortunately, a 28-foot travel trailer is too long for the Tent or Pop-up Campsites. The travel trailer must be parked completely on the concrete pad which only measures 10 feet by 25 feet. There is an additional cleared area for tents. Fortunately, the other campsites at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort all have larger concrete pads so you have several options to choose from.
Mamie, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if you have more questions about Fort Wilderness or any other planning questions. We'd love to help!
Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
Amy H.
