Pop Century Vs. Caribbean Beach Resort --- I have reservations in June for Pop century Preferred Room.- I could upgrade to caribbean beach - a standard room. Which is better?

Hi Lindy!  I actually love both Disney's Pop Century and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resorts.  How I make my decision on where to stay is based on how much time I'll be spending in the room and at the resort.  If we are going for a shorter vacation, where we are at the parks all day everyday without a break - I typically choose a value resort.  If we are going to take a few days to relax away from the park to enjoy the resort, then we spring for a moderate.  The rooms are slightly larger in the moderate category and the pool area is much more fun.  At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you will find 2 really fun water slides, water cannons, a fun splash area for smaller children and 2 hot tubs for relaxation.  You will also find white sandy beaches with plenty of hammocks hanging around that my husband has been known to fall asleep in more than once!  I really the food court at both resorts, although kids meals are served in a sand bucket complete with a shovel at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it's too cute.  All in all, both resorts are great and I know whichever one you pick you will love.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please do come back and ask.  Have a great day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
