Hi! Does the Pop Century resort provide Shampoo, Conditioner and soap in the rooms? What about a hairdryer and a Keurig?

Welcome, Foolish Mortal, to The Haunted Mansion, I mean Pop Century.

Which, in fact, is my family’s favorite resort! So I am so glad that you will be staying there next month, Peggy. It’s going to be so much fun. The best news is that the shower does include a station in which you can find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There’s also a little bar soap that can be used at the sink for normal handwashing.

Since your room is equipped with all these items, that means more room in your suitcase for extra souvenirs! I’m kidding, partially, because I do tend to overpack and then purchase way too much when I am there. TIP: Bring an empty tote for any extras you may come home with.

As far as coffee machines go, you’ll find a single-serve coffee machine. It is not a Keurig, but it is similar in that it makes one cup at a time. Instead of little coffee cups, you’ll use a circular coffee pouch to make your coffee. TIP: Keep extra room temperature water bottles in your room to use to fill your coffee maker in the morning.

Another great option you have is to purchase a resort refillable mug to use during your stay. My husband and I get these for our visits. His job is to run to the food court every morning to get us coffee before the kids wake up. Once they are awake, they are ready to head to the parks. Which is why our morning coffee is a necessity! Plus, those cups come in handy later in the day when we return to our room and find ourselves ready for a refreshing drink.

Lastly, yes, you will be happy to know that you can also find a hairdryer in your room and even an iron and an ironing board! All of which come in handy and again, help leave room in your personal luggage. And if there's anything you've forgotten, you'll be happy to know you can find most essentials available to purchase down at the Everything Pop Shopping and Dining.

Peggy, I hope this helps answer your questions so that you can finalize your packing list. If there’s anything else you can think of, just send us a message. We here at planDisney are always more than happy to help you prepare for your visit.

    See ya real soon,
