Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Lynn. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few, short weeks! You must be counting down the days with excitement.
You'll love staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. With larger-than-life nods to pop culture throughout the resort and spacious, updated Guest rooms, you'll be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling even
after you've left the theme parks!
I'm pleased to tell you that you will find a selection of grocery items available for purchase at
Everything POP Shopping & Dining. It's a very limited selection, though, so if you need specific grocery items, I recommend having a grocery order delivered to Disney's Pop Century Resort. You have lots of options like Amazon Prime, Instacart, and Walmart, but my family prefers to use Garden Grocer for all our Disney vacations. We've had nothing but excellent experiences with this Orlando-based grocery delivery service. I usually order bottled beverages, snacks, on-the-go breakfast items, fresh produce, and theme park essentials like sunscreen and hand sanitizer. The less I have to pack in my luggage, the better! When your groceries are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel, Bell Services will hold them until you're ready to pick your order up. They'll even refrigerate any perishable items!
If you'd like to have Bell Services deliver your grocery order directly to your room, you'll need to be present to receive the delivery and a $6 delivery fee will be charged to your room account (that price is subject to change at any time).
As a mom of three, I certainly value a date night with my husband. We arranged for an
in-room babysitting service for our last vacation so that we could enjoy an adults-only visit to Disney Springs, and we had the very best time! Unfortunately, babysitting services are currently unavailable as part of
Disney's phased reopening. I suggest keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and destinations! As experiences and services return to the Walt Disney World Resort, we'll see that information posted on the Disney Parks Blog.
I hope this was helpful, Lynn. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Ashley
