For Pop Century in 2012 there is a new "Preferred Pool View" option. Do these rooms face the Hippy Dippy Pool? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi DAnn!

When I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort in May, I had a lengthy conversation with one of the Cast Members working at the Guest Services desk about the new room categories there.  In the past, this resort offered only standard and preferred rooms, but for 2012 they will have four categories:  standard, standard with pool view, preferred, and preferred with a pool view.

All preferred rooms will be within 500 feet of Classic Hall, affording those guests the easiest access to the Everything Pop Food Court, Guest Services, and the resort's bus stops.  And, of course, the closest rooms with views of the pool will fit the category you ask about in your question.  While the majority of rooms in this category will be in the '60s section of the resort with a view of the Hippy Dippy Pool, some of the rooms in this category will have a view of the Bowling Pool in the 50's buildings.  Having seen both of these areas of Disney's Pop Century Resort, I'm sure you'll be pleased with either option.

Thanks so much for your question.  If you have others, please don't hesitate to post them.  We'd be happy to help.
