Hello Sue and welcome to planDisney!
My home away from home is Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! You’ve got me wondering which delicious dining spot you’ve selected for dinner from your home base at Disney’s Pop Century Resort! Could it be
‘Ohana with the mouthwatering grilled teriyaki beef and scrumptious pineapple coconut bread pudding with vanilla ice cream? Is it the
Kona Cafe and their poke bowls and Kona-braised short rib? Or are you going to take the short walk to the Island Tower to dine at the
Wailulu Bar & Grill with its breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon? Whatever you have chosen, you can’t go wrong!
Now let’s get you there! The easiest complimentary route is to take a theme park bus from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to the Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you will transfer to either the
water taxi for the Polynesian resort or the
Resort Monorail. Both options are located just outside the front of the Magic Kingdom and will have signs pointing you in the right direction. I would suggest a water taxi ride for a relaxing, scenic view of the Seven Seas Lagoon! You will make a quick stop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to drop off some Guests, and then you will make your way to the Polynesian boat dock. Walk along the boat dock up to the Great Ceremonial House where the Polynesian lobby is located and find your destination for the evening!
Sue, you could also call on a ride-share service or a taxi to get you from one resort to the other. You could even sprinkle some pixie dust on your evening by calling on the
Minnie Van connected by Lyft to escort you to your amazing dinner destination!
Sue, no matter what mode of transportation you decide to use, your night at the Polynesian will not be complete without a walk on the sandy beach, tiki torches lit, the moonlight shining, and you and your family enjoying a Mickey Bar or two! Have a great adventure!
