Pop Century of Caribbean Beach with a 2.5 year old for a 6 night trip? We are taking our son to Disney for the first time in October! We are very excited but curious if it is worth it to spend the extra money on a moderate resort.

Hi Khrystin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I hope that you are having a fantastic week! I am so excited that you will are planning a First Visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. It is such a magical experience taking your own child to Disney for the first time.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort are both really great places to stay. If it was up to me I would choose to stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. It is extremely family friendly and it also is budget friendly! I always try to travel as inexpensively as possible. In my opinion there is also a lot less walking since it seems to me that the resort isn’t as spread out as Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. That makes for easier walks back to your hotel room at the end of the evening! Lastly there is just something about this Resort hotel that feels like home to me.

I am sure that whichever Resort hotel that you choose you will make memories that will last a lifetime!
