Will Pop Century and Art of Animation be sister resorts? Will you be able to walk across the bridge and use pools at both resorts?

    Hi Lori!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

The two resorts are located very close to each other as you know.  Before Disney announced that they would be building the Art of Animation Resort, the ground it sits on was going to be used for the second half of the Pop Century resort with both halves connected by a bridge over the lake.  Now that they are separate resorts, however, with their own food court, bus service, check-in lobby, etc it is doubtful that Disney will see them as "sister" resorts and allow such things as pool hopping.  However, we'll have to wait and see once the resort officially opens later this year.

Sorry I don't have a more straight forward answer for you, but please write back with more questions.  Also, please check back with the Walt Disney World Moms Panel once the resort officially opens!
