Hey, Francisca and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you reached out because I know Guests with
Service Animals experience the Magic of the Mouse so much more comfortable with their trusty companion by their side.
All Walt Disney World Resort hotels including
Disney's Pop Century Resort allow Service Animals for
Guests with Disabilities. No specific rooms are required for these quadruped companions (dog or miniature horse only) and there are Service Relief Areas located in the grassy areas adjacent to the parking lots. There are Relief Areas at all Theme Parks and Disney Springs. Please carry a copy of your companion's vaccination card with you in case you are asked for proof. Also, I suggest contacting Disney Resort Hotel Reservations in advance and requesting a room on the ground floor to make traveling with your Service Animal easier.
planDisney Pro Tip: If your Service Animal gets dehydrated in the Florida heat you can ask for a complimentary cup of water from any theme park restaurant. I recommend a collapsable bowl be tucked in your park bag for your buddy's beverage enjoyment. I would also take every opportunity to use
Disney PhotoPass Photographers and
Memory Maker to capture practically perfectly in every way pictures.
Please let
me know if you have other questions to help plan your Disney vacation.
Francisca, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
