One of my favorite tips for visiting Walt Disney World Resort is to take advantage of the pools at your resort hotel. Nothing is a perfect accompaniment to walking 10,000 steps by noon quite like a dip in the water. It sounds like you already are thinking of that!
When I was researching your question, I found various reports on the different ways Disney sanitizes its pools; however, I wanted the most accurate, up-to-date information I could. When I reached out to Cast Members, I learned that they cannot confirm what chemicals (or alternatives) are currently used to sanitize the
pools at
Saratoga Springs Resort. If it were me, I would expect chlorine to be used, but I would inquire with a Cast Member at the front desk to triple-check when you check in. Chlorine is the most common chemical used in pool sanitation, so I’m sure even alternatives have
trace amounts of it.
