Are the pools in the resort heated? Arts of Animation resort.

Hiya, Pal! Are you ready to make a splash at Walt Disney World? I just added a swimsuit to my suitcase for my trip later this week. It felt strange, given that the rest of my attire was long-sleeved shirts and jackets.

The upcoming weather forecast is giving me a bit of a chill. But it is safe and warm to go into the water! Walt Disney World pools are heated to 82 degrees. It might be the first time I head straight down the steps of the Big Blue Pool rather than slowly making my way in on the zero-entry side.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort has three pools: the Big Blue, Cozy Cone and Flippin' Fins. They are all heated, so the cooler temps should not spoil your splashing good time.

Be sure to check out the resort activities, which are usually posted in the lobby. I love Movies Under the Stars. The last time I was at Art of Animation, I listened to a favorite movie while hanging out in the pool. It was a perfect evening!

And if you happen to be at Landscape of Flavors and craving dessert, I'm Nemo Cheesecake will have you flipping!

One more tip: the pools are heated, but the poolside air is not. Grab a towel before you jump in, and keep it close. You'll want it when you hop out.

    Just Keep Swimming!
