    Are the pools open year round

    Welcome to planDisney Rylee!

    I am happy to say that swimming pools at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels are open year-round! The pools are heated to a comfortable 82 degrees which is the perfect pool temperature! Moderate and Deluxe Resorts also have water slides and hot tubs for even more water fun.

    Although pools are open year-round, they may close due to inclement weather or for maintenance. If closed for maintenance, you will be advised of alternate pool options so you will still have a splashing good time! 

    You might also want to make a splash at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Enjoy water slides, a lazy river, and even a wave pool. Check the website for operating hours. 

    For more family fun, check out the mini-golf courses! My family loves playing at Winter Summerland (by the way, I was the winner when we last played!) There is also Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf located near Disney's Boardwalk area.
