    Are the pools at the hotels and water parks heated?? My son gets hives from the cold. Dr. recommended heated pools. Considering visiting in May, now may wait till September till the pools really warm up.....

    Hi Beth - I actually get hives from the cold too.  It's very annoying, so I sympathize with your son.

    The good news is that the pools at Walt Disney World are all heated year round.  We always visit in May and in my experience, the pools are nice and warm at that time.
