Are the pools at Boardwalk heated and open all year?

    Hi Ronnie!

The Boardwalk Resort is a great choice when visiting Walt Disney World during your vacation. I love the location being so close to two of the parks and easy to get to both.

For many families, especially those coming from northern states, the idea of swimming is high on the list of priorities during a Florida vacation. Disney understands that need and tries to accommodate the guests as best as they can. Most of the resorts will have at least two pools and guests can choose which one to enjoy at any time. The pools remain open every day unless they have to be closed for refurbishment or for some other safety issue. They certainly take wear and tear from daily use and must be serviced and updated. No matter what happens the resorts will do everything possible to make sure their guests have access to a pool.

All Disney pools are set to have a temperature of 82 degrees on a constant basis. I personally prefer about 90 degrees so 82 can feel cold to me! But for most guests they find this a refreshing temperature. The sun will have a lot to do with how warm or cool a pool feels too.

Enjoy your Disney vacation and add some pool time in your schedule!
