Are there any pools or atractions for kids beside the port adventures at castaway cay?

Castaway Cay is a paradise for the young and young-at-heart!

While there are Port Adventures (shore excursions) available at an additional cost, there is an island full of activities that are free for the whole family.

The family beach is has palm-trees and umbrellas for shaded relaxing. Just steps from the ocean, kids can spend time swimming and building sand castles. Pelican Plunge is a water play area with slides. Spring-A-Leak is another water play area for staying cool in the sun!

When our son was younger, he loved Scuttle's Cove (the island kid's club) where they'll be entertained by the wonderful counselors with treasure hunt, water games and more! They'll even take the kids to lunch at Cookie's BBQ!

Grouper's Game Pavilion is a great diversion when kids (or adults) need time away from the sand and surf. Ping Pong, pool and other games are offered in a shaded area.

You'll also want to look at your Personal Navigator (entertainment schedule) for information on character greetings on the island. Captain Jack Sparrow is a popular meet and greet activity!

One day at Castaway Cay never seems enough!

The Port Adventures that we have enjoyed is swimming with the sting rays. One of the best activities that I recall while on Castaway Cay was a bike ride around the island. Bikes are available for rent.

If boredom should set in or the weather isn't cooperating, it's a quick tram ride or walk back to the ship!
