Hello Billie, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Nothing screams vacation like a dip in the pool, especially on a sunny Florida day. It's a highlight of the trip, each vacation, for me. Over the past few months, when visiting
Walt Disney World, the main pool at each of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that I've stayed at has opened at 10:00 am. The quiet pools scattered about have opened a little earlier at 9:00 am. As it gets warmer and the resorts get busier, that opening time will change to 9:00 am for the main pool and 8:00 am for the quiet pools. When you arrive at your resort, it's best to ask the Cast Member helping you at check-in for an updated time. Closing hours also vary depending on the season of the year. I'd expect for the beginning of April to be like my trip a few weeks ago with the pool closing at 10:00 pm. Again, hours and lifeguard availability are always subject to change.
The pools at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort are heated to an enjoyable 82 degrees year round. No matter what time of day you visit, it will be a pleasant dip in the pool. Complimentary towels are also provided so just grab your suits and shades and you're good to go!
Did you know that around the Disney All-Star Sports Resort main pool area you can enjoy a nightly
movie under the stars? It's a fun way to end the day. If you get a chance to check it out, I highly recommend it. Check with the front desk for a times guide and list of movies that will be showing during your stay.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
