Magical greetings, Rosanna, and welcome back to planDisney. Your trip is just a couple more months away, and you're in the home stretch now. Thanks for asking your question about the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Disney food just happens to be one of my favorite things to talk about, so you're in good company.
As you're probably already aware, your
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan for each person includes 2 Quick-Service meals (entree and beverage) and 1 snack per day as well as a Resort Refillable mug for your stay. Guests over the age of 21 can choose an alcoholic beverage with their meals.
You'll be happy to know that you won't be limited to canned beverages on your dining plan. While there are a few exclusions, most alcoholic beverages are included at Quick-Service locations. Anything that includes a souvenir element, like a souvenir cup or glow cube, or certain premium spirits may be excluded. I always recommend talking to your server about what's included before placing your order. If you're interested in something that's excluded, servers can often times suggest an included alternative. For example, I had the
Disney Dining Plan during my last trip, and I wanted the Lapu Lapu at
'Ohana, which is served in a hollowed-out pineapple. I learned it wasn't included when served in the pineapple, but I could get the exact same drink in a regular glass instead as part of my dining plan.
One tip that I have for you is to familiarize yourself with which locations take your dining plan before you go. You mentioned pool bars, and, while many pool bars do participate in the dining plan, some don't. The best way to know for sure is to filter the list of restaurants by the dining plan you have. You can find a list pre-filtered for the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
here.
Rosanna, I hope this has been helpful to you and that you have a fantastic and delicious trip. We're always here for you if you have any other planning questions we can help you with.
Grab hold of your dreams!
