Hi Jean,
Welcome back to planDisney! We’re so glad you decided to stop by again to bring us another question. And you came to the right place! I’m a self-proclaimed
Disney fireworks aficionado, especially if we’re talking about Happily Ever After. And to get to enjoy the most magical show at one of the most magical places,
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort… well, now you have me wishing I was there! But before I digress, let’s dive into your question!
Jean, I have great news for you! Yes, the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort still plays the audio for
Happily Ever After through speakers, though, as with all outdoor offerings, it’s always a good idea to double-check on the day of your visit, as things can occasionally change.
There is something truly spectacular about watching the fireworks across the Seven Seas Lagoon while hearing the music right along with it,
maybe with a DOLE Whip in hand. It really brings all those emotions and story moments to life in such a beautiful way. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
Now, let me sprinkle in one of my favorite ways to turn this into a whole evening. I love
booking a dinner at Kona Cafe, enjoying a relaxed meal (and maybe that famous bread pudding; if you know, you know), and then strolling down to the beach to enjoy the fireworks. It’s my personal happily ever after!
Another fun option is to head over to
Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace for a nightcap. You get that fun, tropical atmosphere, and if you time it right, you can catch the fireworks right from the terrace. Make sure you grab a table on the left side of the terrace for the best views. And the music will pipe in there, too!
I’m so excited for you to experience the more laid-back version of watching Happily Ever After. From the water views, the music, to those sparkling reflections on the lagoon, it’s sure to be a moment you won’t soon forget from your magical vacation!
Jean, I hope this info was helpful. If you need any additional details, you know where to find us!
Wishing you your very own happily ever after,
Emille
