Hi Brittany! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
I hope you are as excited as I am for your upcoming stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! When it comes to deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World, this hotel may be the leader in almost every category. The location is unmatched, being so close to the
Magic Kingdom Park while also being within walking distance to the monorail station that takes you directly to
EPCOT. The relaxing vibes have you in full vacation mode the entire time, especially if you get to spend some time out by
one of the two pools or the white sandy beaches. My family visits this resort on every trip regardless if we are staying here or not. We always find an excuse to either dine or explore one of the gift shops!
Currently, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is not offering room service to any Guests. However, you will be able to mobile order at two different dining locations onsite,
Capt. Cook's and
Kona Café. If you are hanging out in your room and want to eat there, simply place a mobile order on the
My Disney Experience App and choose your arrival window for pickup. Once your order is ready, head down to the restaurant to pick up your food and bring it back to your room to enjoy. Consider it a modified room service order. The best part about this is the quality of food you get to eat. Kona Café has the best breakfast on Walt Disney World property in my opinion. To be able to wake up and enjoy the Macadamia Nut Pancakes without an Advanced Dining Reservation before heading to the parks sounds heavenly!
One experience I recommend taking part in is watching the Magic Kingdom nighttime show from the beach down past the main pool. The resort pipes in the music from
Disney Enchantment and you have an amazing view of the fireworks and Cinderella Castle. It truly is a magical experience!
Brittany, I hope this information helps you plan your upcoming stay!
