We will be at the Polynesian Resort, what is the best way to get to the Wilderness Lodge? Then the best transportation from Wilderness Lodge to the Grand Floridian?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leanne!

Navigating the Walt Disney World Resort and its 40-square miles can seem like a daunting task. But thanks to the handy GPS feature you can have at the palm of your hand on the My Disney Experience mobile app, getting to and fro is as easy as saying bibbidi bobbidi boo!

Leanne, according to the app, your best transportation option from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is by hopping on the resort monorail to Magic Kingdom, then from there getting on Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort bus at the resort bus stop. Likewise, when leaving Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, use the bus to Magic Kingdom. Once there you can take the water taxi to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or the resort Monorail.

To access these directions simply launch the app from your smart device, use the search option to find your destination and select Get Directions. You can even play with it from home to get a feel of the app and the resort layout, if that helps!

Be sure to allow at least 90-minutes when traveling within the resort. This will give you a good cushion of time so you don’t feel rushed during your vacation.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have any additional questions, please be sure to bring those our way.

We hope to see you again real soon!
