Is the Polynesian really worth the significant extra money? It's about $1500 more than Port Orleans French Quarter for 6 nights...

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We've stayed at both the Polynesian and Port Orleans French Quarter, and love both of them. Whether the price difference is worth it is really up to you.

Since the Polynesian is on the monorail loop, it's definitely more convenient. You'll likely save some time traveling to the parks, especially to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. You'll also have a larger room, and some better amenities. If you plan to spend extra time at the resort, it may be worth the extra money.

However, Port Orleans French Quarter still has some nice amenities. If you don't plan to spend much time at the resort, it may be a good idea to save money and stay there.

I hope that helps you make a decision. Have a good vacation!
