Aloha, Leslie! I am so happy you came by planDisney so I could
spill the beans and
perk up your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. You and I have a
latte in common: I just packed coffee for my trip in just a few days. I don't have my outfits ready yet, but I do have my priorities in order.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has single-serve coffee brewers in the studio resort rooms. Housekeeping will generally replenish your supply when they clean your room, but you are welcome to bring your own pods as well.
You can hit the
grounds running right from your room or find additional
shots of caffeine to fuel your morning (or all day, in my case) at the resort. You can grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee at
Capt. Cook's. While there, you might find the Tonga Toast as addictive as a good cup of joe. If you have never tried banana-stuffed sourdough bread that has been deep-fried and dusted with cinnamon and sugar, consider this your invitation for some heavenly decadence.
You can also stop by
Kona Island, a coffee bar for espressos, lattes, and mochas. It is a
cup above.
Typically, things start brewing at Kona Island around 6:30 a.m. and Capt. Cook's wakes up around 7:00 a.m. You should be able to see the times in the
My Disney Experience app. Information on all the dining options at the Polynesian is available under the resort information on the app.
I hope your trip is a magical escape from the daily
grind. If you have any other questions, we would love to see you at planDisney. This is the start of a
brew-tiful relationship!
Cool Beans!
